Zamir Says IDF Is at Strategic Crossroads on Day 1,000

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir convened senior commanders to mark 1,000 days of war since Hamas's October 7 massacre and said Israel stands at a significant strategic crossroads. The forum opened with remembrance for fallen soldiers and focused on multi-arena operational, intelligence and strategic lessons. Zamir described October 7 as an attack on the existence of the Jewish people and said memory must sharpen responsibility for the future. Israel honors its fallen by learning, adapting and preserving victory across every front.
