Oct. 7 Ceremony Fundraiser Tops NIS 700,000 in First Day

The report said about 4,905 donors had covered over 38% of the NIS 2 million goal for the Yarkon Park ceremony, which KUMU and families of victims and hostages want to make the largest publicly funded memorial event in Israel's history. Official KUMU and Yonatan Shamriz posts urged Israelis to join and support the effort.
