Netanyahu UN Trip Tests Mamdani Threat

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's planned September visit to the UN General Assembly is already creating a New York security and political test for Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Shin Bet and the U.S. Secret Service are arranging the delegation's protection, a hotel has not yet been finalized after a prior security failure, and Israel secured a shift of Netanyahu's speech to September 24 so he can return before Sukkot begins on September 25. The PMO also confirmed Netanyahu and President Donald Trump agreed July 3 to meet soon in the United States. New York should honor its duties to visiting heads of state, not reward anti-Israel lawfare theatrics.
