INSS Poll Finds Only 15 Percent of Israelis Believe Israel Won Iran War
The Institute for National Security Studies said only 15 percent of Israelis view Israel as the victor of the war with the United States against Iran, while 37 percent believe Iran won and 43 percent judge the war ended without a decisive outcome. Coalition voters were more upbeat, with 30 percent saying Israel won, versus 52 percent of opposition voters who said Iran won. Sixty-six percent called the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding detrimental to Israel, and 68 percent expect hostilities with Iran to resume within a year. INSS surveyed 805 Hebrew and 152 Arabic speakers June 16-22, with a maximum 3.17 point sampling error.
