Jordan Downs Four Iranian Missiles Without Casualties or Damage

Jordan's military said Monday that its air-defense systems intercepted and destroyed four missiles launched from Iran after they entered the kingdom's airspace. It reported no casualties or material damage and said the armed forces remained at the highest state of readiness to protect Jordanian sovereignty. The announcement followed an unverified IRGC claim that it had attacked missile warehouses and fuel reservoirs at Jordan's Prince Hassan Air Base. Jordan borders Israel and hosts U.S. military forces; the interception came during renewed U.S.-Iran exchanges that also activated air defenses in Kuwait and missile alerts in Bahrain.
