U.S. Completes 13th Night of Iran Strikes on Command and Maritime Targets
U.S. Central Command said American forces completed a thirteenth consecutive night of strikes on Iran at 9 p.m. Eastern time Thursday. CENTCOM said the wave hit Iranian military command centers, drone-storage facilities, communications networks, coastal-surveillance sites and maritime capabilities. The command said the targets were selected to further reduce Iran's ability to threaten civilian mariners and commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. It added that the international waterway remains open and commercial ships continue to pass with U.S. military support despite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacks.
