An IDF drone was found in Kibbutz Nahal Oz near the Gaza border shortly before 5:45 p.m. Monday, prompting the military to examine the aircraft. The IDF said the drone belonged to its own forces and that there was no concern of a security incident. Initial footage showed a camera-equipped aircraft with an attached object while its origin was being checked. The aircraft was recovered inside the kibbutz, according to the first reports from the scene. The IDF subsequently identified it as military equipment and said the circumstances remained under investigation.
