Israel Delivers Three Tons of Medical Aid to Congo for Ebola Response

Israel delivered three tons of medical aid to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to support its response to an Ebola outbreak, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar said Monday in Jerusalem. Sa'ar announced the completed shipment beside Congolese Foreign Minister Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner, whose delegation signed two memoranda with Israel. The agreements cover diplomatic training and regular political consultations between the two foreign ministries. Wagner thanked Israel for supporting Congo's response and said the countries see further potential in health care, agriculture, education, investment, innovation and emerging technologies.
