White House Calls Netanyahu-Trump Meeting Positive and Productive

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu speaking beside President Donald Trump with Israeli and United States flags behind them

The White House said President Donald Trump concluded his Oval Office meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and called it positive and productive. The closed-door session lasted nearly 90 minutes, with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and envoy Steve Witkoff among the U.S. participants. Netanyahu arrived intending to present updated Israeli intelligence on Iran's nuclear, missile and drone reconstruction efforts, while Iran, Gaza, Lebanon and expansion of the Abraham Accords were on the agenda. Neither government immediately released further details or announced an agreement after the meeting.
