IDF Says Gaza Strikes Targeted Hamas Operatives; Medics Report Three Killed

The IDF said two strikes in Gaza targeted Hamas operatives, while local medics reported that three people were killed. Medics said a strike on a tent encampment in Khan Younis killed a man and an eight-year-old girl, and a strike on a home in the Bureij camp killed an 18-month-old child and wounded at least eight people. Israel said both sites contained Hamas militants, but no identities were released in the initial report. The strikes came as Hamas met mediators in Cairo over the second phase of the U.S.-brokered Gaza plan, including disarmament, Israeli withdrawal and postwar security arrangements.
