Kuwait Air Defenses Confront Iranian Drone Attack

Kuwait's military said its air defenses were confronting hostile drone attacks linked to Iran at 9:24 a.m. Israel time. It said any explosions heard were the result of interception systems and urged residents to follow official safety instructions. An Israeli breaking report six minutes later described the incoming threats as missiles rather than drones, while an international report documented Iranian drones targeting Kuwait and Kuwaiti forces shooting them down. The attack extends Iran's pressure on Gulf states hosting U.S. forces as Washington considers further strikes on Iranian infrastructure.
