Iranian Reports Claim U.S. Base in Kuwait Hit After Heavy Explosions

Heavy explosions were reported in Kuwait overnight, with the sound also reportedly reaching Iraq's Basra province. Tasnim's English channel said Arab media reported a direct hit on an American military base in northern Kuwait and that published images showed columns of fire visible from Iraqi territory. Ynet separately reported the explosions and a fire in central Kuwait while attributing the base-hit claim to Tasnim. Kuwaiti and U.S. authorities had not immediately confirmed the reported strike, leaving the target and any damage unverified.
