Iran Says Three Su-24 Pilots Remain Missing After Al Udeid Mission

Iranian authorities are continuing efforts to determine the fate of three Air Force Su-24 pilots who remain missing after a mission against the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, an Iranian army spokesman said Saturday. Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia said four pilots flew the mission, including Second Brigadier General Majid Kazemi, whose body was recently identified and returned to Iran. Akraminia said the aircraft came under attack by enemy fighter jets on their return flight. He said Qatar has told Iran it has no information about the three remaining pilots, and called for Qatari cooperation under international law.
