A blast was heard near Eslamabad-e Gharb in Iran’s western Kermanshah province shortly before 1:05 p.m. Israel time on Saturday. Iranian state media said the sound came from the area around the city, but the exact location and cause were not immediately known. The first reports did not identify any casualties, damage, target or responsible party. Two follow-up reports carried the same limited account and identified Eslamabad-e Gharb as a city in Kermanshah province, without adding an official explanation for the blast.
