Missing Israeli Mother and Daughter Left Austria on Their Own, Police Say

Vienna police said two Israeli citizens, a mother and daughter missing since August 7, left Austria independently. Vienna's State Criminal Police Office worked with Austria's Federal Criminal Police Office, the Directorate for State Security and Intelligence, the Vienna State Office for State Protection and Counter-Extremism, Israeli authorities and other international security bodies. Police said current investigative findings provide no indication of a violent crime. The official release did not name the women, state that they had been physically located or disclose where they traveled after leaving Austria.
