IDF Says Khan Younis Strike Targeted Islamic Jihad Member; Five Wounded

An Israeli strike in Khan Younis in southern Gaza wounded five people, according to Kuwait and Nasser hospitals. One child was seriously injured, the hospitals said. The Israel Defense Forces said the strike targeted a member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad but did not identify the intended target. Gaza's Hamas-run Health Ministry says repeated strikes since the ceasefire have killed 1,262 Palestinians, a cumulative figure that does not distinguish civilians from militants and is separate from Sunday's incident. No strike time or further operational details were immediately published.
