Haredi Public Names 15-Rabbi Committee; One Rabbi Says He Was Not Asked

Haredi Public has reportedly formed a 15-member rabbinical committee to guide the party’s activity and address public and fundamental issues. Reports named ten members, including Rabbis Yossi Ben Arza, Yehoshua Pfeffer and Yitzhak Bar Chaim, as the party expands field activity in Haredi population centers. Bar Chaim asked for his name to be removed, saying it was included without his permission and denying any political involvement. His associates said that possible support in principle for another Haredi party did not mean backing Haredi Public or its election campaign.
