Nepal Issues New Flood Warnings as Toll Reaches 750; One Israeli Listed Missing

Nepal issued renewed flood warnings Sunday morning after China warned of increased upstream flow in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river system. Nepali authorities reported 734 bodies recovered and 2,498 people missing, while officials in Tibet reported 16 dead and 546 missing, bringing the combined toll to 750 dead and 3,044 unaccounted for. Nepal said 19,895 responders had been mobilized and 8,186 people rescued, including 227 foreign nationals evacuated by helicopter. A Tourism Board list included one Israeli among the foreign nationals still missing.
