Iran Reports Missiles Fired Toward U.S. Vessels in Strait of Hormuz

Iranian state media reported that missiles were fired from Iran toward U.S. vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, but provided no vessel names, missile count, launch unit, impact, damage or casualty information. Thirteen minutes later, it posted footage said to show missiles launched toward enemy positions and explicitly said it could not independently verify the video. The report came after state media relayed an IRGC spokesman’s warning that the United States would pay for the Larak attack on economic and military fronts. No U.S. confirmation was available in the verified sources.
