The United Arab Emirates Defense Ministry said the UAE Air Force responded to an unmanned aerial vehicle detected over the country’s territorial waters while approaching from Iran. The ministry said the armed forces remained on high alert and ready to address threats. It added that air-defense systems were monitoring and tracking Emirati airspace around the clock. The ministry urged the public to rely on official authorities and avoid rumors or false information. It did not disclose the drone’s ownership, intended target, fate, or whether the incident caused damage or casualties.
