IDF and Shin Bet Identify Sufa Outpost Raid Commander Killed in Khan Younis

The IDF and Shin Bet identified Muhammad Mahmoud Marshed al-Qadi, a Hamas Nukhba company commander, as the terrorist killed in a September 2 strike in Khan Younis. The agencies said al-Qadi entered the Sufa outpost during the October 7 massacre and commanded the raid there. They said he later took part in holding hostages in Rafah and recently trained terrorists, rebuilt Hamas capabilities and advanced attacks on Israeli civilians and IDF troops while violating the ceasefire. Southern Command forces remain deployed under the agreement.
