Prosecutors filed an indictment Friday against an Israeli citizen on security offenses tied to alleged work for foreign intelligence actors. The permitted account says the Shin Bet and police arrested and questioned the citizen during a joint investigation. Investigators concluded that the accused was directed by foreign intelligence and participated in influence activity against Israel. Prosecutors also asked the court to keep the defendant in custody through the end of proceedings, while a gag order bars publication of the person's identity, location, directing country, operational methods and specific acts.
