Fetterman Appears by Video at Republican Midterm Convention

Pennsylvania Democratic Senator John Fetterman appeared in a prerecorded video lasting about one minute at the Republican midterm convention in Dallas. Introducing Republican Senator Dave McCormick, Fetterman called him ‘a great American’ and friend, rejected political extremes and socialism, and pledged to work with President Donald Trump to defend Pennsylvania’s steel industry. Fetterman later said he remains a lifelong Democrat and would supply the expected 51st Democratic vote if his party won the Senate. He has also opposed efforts to end the Iran war and said an ‘anti-Israel’ Democratic Party would be a red line for him.
