Poll Shows Coalition Bloc Falling to 49 Seats as Haredi Parties Each Lose a Seat

An election poll published Friday morning projected 49 Knesset seats for the governing coalition bloc, down one seat, as United Torah Judaism and Shas each lost a seat and stood at six apiece. The survey gave the Zionist opposition parties 55 seats, the Arab parties 12, and the Reservists and HaKalkalit list four. Yashar led with 22 seats, followed by Likud with 18, B'Yachad with 13 and the Democrats with 11. Yisrael Beytenu and Otzma Yehudit each received nine, the Joint Arab List seven, Religious Zionism and Zehut six, Ra'am five and Amcha Yisrael four. The figures are poll estimates, not election results.
