Yashar Seeks to Cancel Netanyahu's Election-Integrity Meeting With Police Chief

Yashar with Eisenkot said Sunday that it had asked the attorney general and the Central Elections Committee chairman to cancel a meeting called by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with the police commissioner about election integrity. The party said committee representatives had not been included in the meeting. It argued that Netanyahu, himself an election candidate, was not responsible for election integrity and that the commissioner was not subordinate to him on that issue. The party warned that the meeting could cast unjustified doubt on election integrity and undermine public confidence in the result.
