Eisenkot's Yashar Party Demands Removal of Likud's Arabic-Language Billboards

Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party sent a warning letter to Likud legal adviser Ilan Bombach on October 22, demanding removal of Arabic-language campaign billboards in Jerusalem and elsewhere in Israel. The party alleges the signs display Eisenkot's image and resemble Yashar's design while failing to identify the advertiser clearly in Hebrew. It argues that readers who cannot read Arabic could mistakenly believe Yashar produced or approved the campaign. Yashar also demanded a prominent Hebrew clarification identifying Likud as the advertiser, with a deadline of 10:00 on October 23.
