Eisenkot Accuses Netanyahu of Responsibility for His Adviser’s Actions
Published
Gadi Eisenkot accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on October 22 of responsibility for the actions of his adviser Jonatan Urich. In a Hebrew-language post, Eisenkot alleged that the adviser had said he did nothing without Netanyahu’s approval, and argued that claims of not knowing or not being awakened could no longer serve as excuses. He accused Netanyahu of approving the actions, knowing about them and remaining silent. Eisenkot also accused the prime minister of abandoning Israel’s security and corrupting the Prime Minister’s Office.
