North American Families Press Ahead With Summer Aliyah

North American Jewish families are pressing ahead with aliyah as Nefesh B'Nefesh's 2026 summer season moves from launch events into flights. The organization says more than 2,300 North American olim, including 478 families, are expected to arrive in Israel this summer on 47 group flights from New York, New Jersey, Miami, Boston and Los Angeles. Launch events in New Jersey and Toronto drew more than 650 future olim and relatives with the Aliyah and Integration Ministry, the Jewish Agency, KKL-JNF and JNF-USA. Families described choosing Israel despite wartime uncertainty, a Zionist and family-centered decision that strengthens Jewish continuity in the land.
