Houthi Shelling of Marib Kills Two Civilians and Wounds 14, Health Minister Says

Houthi forces shelled residential neighborhoods and displacement camps in the government-held city of Marib on Friday, killing two civilians and wounding 14 others in an initial toll, Yemen's public health minister, Qasim Buhaibeh, said. He said six women and children from one displaced family in the Jaw al-Naseem camp were among the dead and wounded, and that hospitals across the province were ordered onto alert to treat casualties. Local and military sources reported successive explosions in the city as government air defenses intercepted several of the drones. The shelling followed Houthi missile and drone attacks a day earlier on Yemeni army camps in Marib and Hadramawt.
