Age-Adjusted Survey Puts Yisrael Beytenu at 29% Among Russian Speakers

Newsru's age-adjusted recalculation of a voluntary online survey put Yisrael Beytenu first among first-generation Russian-speaking immigrants at 29%, followed by Likud at 16% and Beyahad at 11%. The weighting assigned different values to eight age groups, lowering the sample's average age from about 64 to a working estimate of 59. The original September 9–12 survey had 3,725 respondents, including only 12 born in Israel, and made no adjustments for sex, income or immigration year. Newsru stressed that the exercise remains nonrepresentative and is neither a poll of the wider Russian-speaking electorate nor a national election forecast.
