Religious Zionism Opens Registration for Negev and Galilee Settlement Groups

Religious Zionism opened registration on September 16 for prospective settlement groups in the Negev and Galilee under its "Yes, Judaizing" campaign. Applicants may choose either region or both, while the party has not published locations, minimum group sizes or implementation timetables. The wider plan calls for 40 new communities, divided equally between the Negev and Galilee, and targets one million additional Jewish residents alongside farms, housing, infrastructure and employment investment. Bezalel Smotrich said the registration was intended to recruit the first groups of new pioneers. Any communities would still require government, land-allocation and planning approvals.
