Iran Says It Executed Hossein Pedaran Over Alleged Mossad Espionage

Iran's judiciary said it executed Hossein Pedaran after convicting him of espionage and intelligence cooperation with Israel, alleging that he gave Mossad information on military and missile sites in Isfahan province for payment. Judiciary-run Mizan said the Supreme Court upheld the death sentence. Authorities alleged Pedaran sent encrypted reports on facilities, personnel and internal procedures and received euros through drops in Tehran and Isfahan.
