Kariv Criticizes Sa’ar Over Reported Support for Netanyahu at Trial

MK Gilad Kariv criticized Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar on Sunday after sharing a report describing Sa’ar appearing in support of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his trial. Kariv accused Sa’ar of finding time to flatter Netanyahu while Israel faced what he called a “diplomatic tsunami.” He also said he remembered Sa’ar making accusations about corruption involving Netanyahu and his family in private conversations when Sa’ar was justice minister and Kariv chaired the Knesset Constitution Committee. Kariv added that he hoped Sara Netanyahu had received a real-time report.
