Smotrich Alleges Serious Offenses in Netanyahu Investigation After Mandelblit Testimony

Bezalel Smotrich alleged on Monday that Avichai Mandelblit’s testimony that day confirmed serious offenses during the investigation of Benjamin Netanyahu. In a Hebrew statement posted to his Telegram channel at 2:40 p.m. Israel time on October 12, he wrote that Mandelblit had “confirmed today in his testimony” that such offenses occurred. Smotrich’s caption did not identify specific offenses, name investigators or cite a judicial ruling on the allegation. The post records Smotrich’s characterization of the testimony; it does not establish a court finding of wrongdoing.
