CENTCOM Discloses October 6 Destruction of Iran-Linked Dhow in Gulf of Oman

U.S. Central Command said on October 14 that American forces had destroyed an Iranian-affiliated dhow in the Gulf of Oman on October 6. The command alleged that the vessel had been conducting surveillance and targeting U.S. Navy ships operating in the area. It released video with its account of the operation. The announcement disclosed an action taken eight days earlier, rather than a new strike on October 14.
