Eisenkot Accuses Government of Enabling Jewish Terrorism After Attack on Diplomats

Gadi Eisenkot accused the Israeli government of giving cover to Jewish terrorism in Judea and Samaria following an attack on foreign diplomats. In an October 17 post, he said violent lawbreakers had attacked foreign civilians for a second time within a day, this time targeting diplomats and officials. Eisenkot described the violence as an unprecedented blow to Israel's security and diplomacy. He argued that a small group of criminals was eroding Israel's remaining legitimacy, placing responsibility for the situation on the government's backing of the violence.
