IDF Says Hezbollah Continued Using Kafra Weapons Site After Lebanese Army Action

The IDF disclosed footage on October 20 that it said showed Hezbollah moving weapons from a facility near Kafra in southern Lebanon after the Lebanese army had announced action there. According to the IDF, Israel asked the army through the U.S.-led monitoring mechanism in December 2025 to address the weapons-storage site. The military said Hezbollah continued using it months later, loading weapons onto a truck that Israeli forces subsequently destroyed; it did not date the strike. Israeli intelligence also alleged that some Lebanese army personnel coordinated with Hezbollah to obstruct enforcement. The IDF urged more effective Lebanese action against Hezbollah’s military infrastructure.
