Liberman and Eisenkot Agree to Coordinate Efforts to Raise Election Turnout

Avigdor Liberman, leader of Yisrael Beiteinu, and Gadi Eisenkot, leader of Yashar, met Tuesday evening to discuss preparations for the coming election. Their joint statement, disclosed Wednesday morning, identified increasing voter turnout as the main effort needed at this stage of the campaign. They urged supporters to vote for one of the four parties in their bloc and to avoid votes going to parties that fail to cross the electoral threshold. The two leaders also agreed to continue cooperating in their effort to replace the government.
