Livni Says Replacing Netanyahu’s Government Would Avert Sanctions and Boycotts

Tzipi Livni argued Friday evening that replacing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government would avert sanctions and boycotts against Israel. In a Hebrew post, she described Netanyahu as having warned the public that a wave of such measures was approaching. Livni said she agreed with that warning but predicted the measures would not arrive if the current government left office. She urged voters to change the government. Her post named no country or institution preparing sanctions and identified no specific measure or timetable.
