Beliak Warns of U.S. and European Sanctions if Netanyahu's Government Wins Again

MK Vladimir Beliak warned on October 23 that Israel could face heavy U.S. and European sanctions if the government led by Benjamin Netanyahu, Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir remains in power after the October 27 election. He listed possible arms restrictions and limits on research cooperation among the consequences he foresaw. Beliak linked his warning to Netanyahu's earlier interview about preparations for banking sanctions. In an excerpt posted by interviewer Roy Katz, Netanyahu said he had requested plans using blockchain as an alternative. Beliak urged voters to turn out on election day.
