Golan Urges Government Without Netanyahu, Ben Gvir and Deri to Avoid Sanctions

Yair Golan urged Israelis to vote on Tuesday for a new government without Benjamin Netanyahu, Itamar Ben Gvir and Aryeh Deri. In a Hebrew post on Friday evening, he argued that replacing the leadership was part of the way to prevent economic sanctions against Israel. He called for protecting Israel’s international standing and preserving its strategic alliances. Golan also argued that addressing what he described as Jewish terrorism was necessary to protect Israel’s position abroad, linking these demands to his appeal to voters.
