Meridor Urges Wide Yashar Lead to Prevent Netanyahu Remaining as Caretaker PM

Shaul Meridor urged voters to give Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party a substantial lead over Likud, warning that Benjamin Netanyahu wanted an electoral tie that would let him remain prime minister in a caretaker government. In a Hebrew post on October 24, Meridor asserted that Netanyahu could not win outright but had the tools to produce a tie. He warned that a change of government was at risk. Meridor argued that a wide Yashar lead would avert that scenario and allow his bloc to form the next government.
