Lapid Warns Netanyahu’s Campaign Would Bring Isolation and Sanctions

Opposition leader Yair Lapid criticized Benjamin Netanyahu’s campaign in a Saturday post, warning of an isolated Israel, economic damage, sanctions and sharply higher prices. He also portrayed Netanyahu’s campaign as offering a country without a military alliance with the United States. In contrast, Lapid presented his own campaign as promising a successful, prosperous and wealthy Israel, setting the two campaigns against each other in terms of the country’s international standing and economic future.
