Netanyahu: 'Trump Looks After America, I Look After Israel' Amid Iran Strikes

ערוץ 7

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a Hebrew podcast interview released Wednesday evening that "he looks after America's interests, and I look after Israel's interests, and I am not ashamed to speak my mind." Netanyahu praised President Donald Trump as the most supportive U.S. president Israel has ever had, said the U.S. administration is frustrated with Iran playing for time, and directly criticized Turkey's conduct under President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He warned that Israel must preserve the security zone in southern Lebanon, and told listeners Israel is "prepared for every scenario" after the second night of American strikes on Iranian targets.
