TASE Shares Close 14.98% Higher After Exchange Unveils Growth Plan

TASE shares closed 14.98% higher Thursday, standing out as Israeli equities advanced after the exchange unveiled its 2027–2031 strategic plan. The plan raises the exchange's annual revenue-growth target to 15%–18% and calls for broader international activity, stronger trading and clearing infrastructure, new data and AI services, and possible tokenization initiatives. The TA-35 finished up 1.02% at 4,289.98, while the TA-125 gained 0.95% to 4,164.35. Equity turnover reached NIS 6.73 billion, while the Bank Index fell 1.37%. Technology climbed 2.71%, and energy utilities added 3.05%.
