Efrat Rayten Says No One Detained After Attack on Democrats’ Youth Activists

Efrat Rayten said Friday morning that no one had yet been detained after what she described as an attack on young Democrats activists in Jerusalem the previous evening. The Knesset member said a large, violent group had struck and pushed the activists and damaged property. She said the young campaigners had approached police seeking protection and enforcement, and expressed support for them. An earlier post by Hadas Zangy, which Rayten quoted, placed the alleged incident at Mahane Yehuda market and said activists had been beaten and spat upon.
