Iran Reportedly Urges Hezbollah to Prepare for Possible U.S. Attack

Two diplomats said Iran had warned Hezbollah to prepare because Tehran assessed that a U.S. attack was a matter of time. Lebanese security and military sources separately described instructions for the organization to raise its readiness and recall salaried personnel serving full time. Those sources said Hezbollah was preparing for the possibility of a wider confrontation involving Israel and the United States, while stressing that preparations did not amount to a final decision to enter a war. The accounts rely on unnamed diplomats and security sources.
