Danon Warns Iran and Hezbollah Against Exploiting Israel’s Election Period

Danny Danon, Israel’s permanent representative to the United Nations, warned Iran and Hezbollah not to take advantage of Israel’s election period in a statement he published on October 15. He said he had delivered a strong warning to both, directing his message at any attempt to attack Israel during that period. Danon said anyone who attacked Israel would face severe consequences. His English-language post paired the warning with a video of his remarks and framed the message as a deterrent against attacks on Israel.
