Wadephul Warns Europe Faces Iranian Threats

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul warned on Friday that Europe faces threats from Iran and said Germany would not tolerate Iranian aggression. Speaking in Berlin alongside Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel, he condemned hostile Iranian activity directed against Jews and Germany's open society. Wadephul said Germany would respond, but announced no specific measures at the press conference. His remarks addressed the threat within Europe, including the safety of Jewish communities, rather than setting out a new German operation or a concrete package of sanctions.
