UAE Urges Gaza Plan Implementation, Including Hamas Disarmament

The United Arab Emirates called for implementation of President Donald Trump's Gaza plan in a statement published October 16 by its UN mission. Ambassador Mohamed Abushahab said the roadmap includes Hamas disarmament, deployment of an international stabilization force, the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza taking charge across the Strip, and Israel's withdrawal. He said the UAE supports implementation through the Board of Peace and Gaza Executive Board. Ahead of winter, he also urged humanitarian deliveries through all crossings and protection for aid workers.
